Walking in the Wicks’ Footsteps Tour

Ann Sayers will highlight the history of the Wicks family, a family of 12 who arrived at the gates of the Watervliet Shaker community, and stayed for many years. The Wicks family drama brings to light many aspects of Shaker life, and today we can actually follow in the footsteps of these individuals.
Ann Sayers is the author of a new book on the Wicks family. The book is available in the museum shop, however you do NOT have to read the book to enjoy this walking tour.
