Napkin Basket Weaving Workshop

Local weaver Sandy Salada will teach you how to create your own functional & fabulous Napkin Basket!
Weaving wonder Sandy Salada will teach you how to make your own plain weave basket for holding napkins. It can be used as a muffin or bread basket. Woven from ½” flat natural reed. Adding your choice of color accent is optional.
No prior experience is necessary, suitable for ages 14 and up. Participants can optionally bring the following household tools: an old bath towel, flexible tape measure, pencil and sharp scissors.
The workshop has been planned to allow for social distancing in the spacious Meeting Room, with 10 participants each at a separate table around the room.
Due to the rising cases of Covid, masks are required for all participants. SHS is following all protocols to maintain a safe environment for visitors.
There will be a 30 minute break for lunch – we suggest bringing your own, but we can recommend local places that offer delivery/pickup upon request.
$35 per person for SHS Members and $40 for Non-Members
