Lattice Basket Weaving Workshop

Local weaver Sandy Salada will teach you how to create your own lovely Lattice Basket!

Weaving wonder Sandy Salada will teach you how to make your own Lattice basket, which will be 8” high x 10” diameter.

This basket has a square plain weave bottom then weaves diagonally up the sides to a round top. A fun and easy basket, makes a great waste basket, planter basket, or catch-all basket.

All tools will be provided or participants may bring an old towel, flexible tape measure, pencil and sharp scissors.

Suitable for ages 14 and up, no experience needed.

Materials: reed

The workshop has been planned to allow for social distancing in the spacious Meeting Room, with 8 participants each at a separate table around the room.

Due to the rising cases of Covid, masks are required for all participants. SHS is following all protocols to maintain a safe environment for visitors.

There will be a 30 minute break for lunch – we suggest bringing your own, but we can recommend local places that offer delivery/pickup upon request.

$35 per person for SHS Members and $40 for Non-Members
