Opening Reception & Celebration

Join Shaker Heritage Society in celebrating the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Watervliet Shaker Village with the opening of two new exhibits. Mother Ann Lee: One Woman’s Revolution is a timeline of life of the founder of the Shaker movement, that focuses on the time she spent right here in Albany County, while Building Utopia focuses on the ways in which Mother Ann’s teachings impacted highly influential Shaker design. The reception will include an opportunity to view both exhibits, learn about their creation, recognize the many people who contributed, and enjoy light refreshments and a silent auction.
