Garden and Herb Tour and Talk

The Watervliet Shakers had an extensive industry in producing herbal medicines, teas, vegetable and flower seeds and other products and sold these items throughout the US and internationally.
Learn more about the Shaker herb and seed industry, followed by a walk in our heritage herb garden, where you can see and smell over 100 varieties of plants historically grown and used by the Shakers.
