Volunteer

Make a Difference!

If you’re looking for a community of history lovers, storytellers, and craftspeople, consider volunteering with Shaker Heritage Society. Our volunteers have a range of professional backgrounds and interests and find opportunities to both contribute their expertise and learn new skills. In addition to providing training, we also offer special programs during the year for volunteers. For local students looking for an internship related to history, gardening, education, and more, we offer flexible schedules and hands-on opportunities.

Whether you would like to help out with a few special events during the year or work with us on a weekly basis, you will find a variety of options.
